Getting into the Insanity

It’s been over a week now and I can finally stand up after sitting without having to awaken my calf muscles from the dead πŸ™‚ 20170406_234743Today was Cardio Power & Resistance and I was able to do the power jumps and actually bring my knees up properly today as apposed to just jumping up and down last week :p I feel healthier already and I’m not as dead after the work out, mind I might just be having a very good day, I might die again tomorrow but I’ll cross that bridge then! I’ve not been as good with sticking to the nutrition guide that comes with the Insanity program, however I am very adamant that I eat something about an hour before training so I have some energy to use and get some protein after so my muscles can recover. I really recommend this workout! The best thing about it is that it’s not about doing a certain amount of jumps or a certain amount of push ups. It’s about how many YOU can do in the time you’ve been given. So say we’re doing jumping jacks for a minute, you do as many as you can handle, obviously pushing yourself to do more than last time, but if you can only do ten then that’s all that’s required of you! Which means anyone can do this workout really πŸ™‚
